Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC), a premier centre of technical education, was eastablished in the academic year 1980-81 by the Prabandhak Committee Gurudwara, Sri Nanak Jhira Saheb, Bidar.GNDEC  has become a reputed educational institute in India. All the course offered by the college are affiliated to the University of Gulbarga and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi,vide letter F.No.2-15/B-III/RC/B/93/14282 Dated 17/1/94.
